I was on a call recently with a prospective couple I was on a call recently with a prospective couple who got my details from another couple whose wedding I photographed. They told me they’d been to their house and seen my photos in frames all over the place. Honestly, I can’t tell you how happy that made me. It’s very easy to lose focus on what the images you’re capturing actually mean long term. We live in a world of fast, endless content but what I love about wedding photography is that they’re the images that end up on walls, desks, sideboards… and stay there for decades. I like thinking that some of the photos I’ve taken over the last 14 years are still sitting in frames somewhere, being glanced at now and then and bringing back the best of memories.
