I’ve not been to a wedding since the 1st February this year, that is the longest period in the last 7 years that I have not been to a wedding. I really miss weddings, like so many others, I miss working!
But, it has given me a chance to plan for the future and to reflect on the past. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen some favourites from over the years which I have loved returning to. This one is a little more current, but it was an absolute beauty and to be honest just what I needed at the moment. A reminder that when things return to normal, beautiful, exciting and fun days with everyone we love will return as well.
Henry & Jess booked me 2 months before their wedding last year but when I turned up for bridal prep it was if I had been chatting to them for years. Sometimes it just clicks like that. Their day was just so much fun, a freakishly hot late September day down in the beautiful Salisbury countryside. They laughed, cried, sang and danced into the small hours with an amazing bunch of family and friends that felt almost like my own by the end of the day. This was one of those weddings where I wished I was guest, but I got to do the next best thing by capturing it for them.
When weddings return, may they all have the spirit of Jess & Henry’s!
Much Love xxx
