When I first met James & Katie they told me that there would be a crumpet trailer at their wedding, I think I practically begged them to book me on the spot. I love a crumpet!
There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Katie & James’ big day. I say ‘big’ day in the most literal sense, it was the biggest wedding I have shot this year and on every level was just epic. How many weddings can boast the following…
A church ceremoy, a saxophonist, a rapper, crumpets, trapeze(ists), best men who sing their speech, fire dancers, more trapeze(ists), a massive fire heart, crumpets, a groom in the band & one beautiful couple…. Ok, well all my of weddings have beautiful couples but few can rival these two for entertainment…and crumpets!
Katie & James wanted to reflect their love of music, performance and food through their wedding and my lord did they ever pull it off. I’ve shot a few festival themed weddings now and I’m always gob smacked how much effort and creativity go in to them. There is no fancy venue to work with and in Katie & James’ case they had an empty field. As you will see they turned it into something amazing.
